Private Vocal Coach & Acting Teacher
An accomplished Broadway Actor, Brian has spent the past 22 years of his life splitting time among the theater, film, television, and recording industries and could not be happier to be a part of the StarStruck Family. Originally from the Cleveland Area, Brian first found his love of all things acting, singing and dancing as a middle schooler. This later led to him workshopping the role of Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet with Great Lakes Theatre Festival’s High School Outreach Program. Little did he know, that 5 years later he would be the Featured Guest Artist in the Great Lakes Theatre Festival’s College Outreach Program! From there Brian was lucky enough to land the role of Jim in Cain Park’s production of Big River which opened many doors for him in the Cleveland Professional Theatrical Community. Following principal roles in the productions of Ain’t Misbahavin’ and Kiss of the Spiderwoman and the Beck Center - as well as a run at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square - Brian won the amazing role of Benjamin Coffin III in both the 1st and 2ndNational Tours of Jonathan Larson’s RENT. After tours in the United States, Canada, and Japan Brian was offered a role in RENT’s Broadway Cast but had to decline due to the fact that he had just been offered the role of Swing/Simba Understudy in Disney’s The Lion King’s 1st National Tour – a role he originated. Brian spanned a total of 10 years with Lion King, both on the National Tour and on Broadway and it changed his life. It led to him meeting his beautiful future wife, the birth of his amazing daughter, and ultimately moving his home base from New York City to South Florida. Since being in South Florida, Brian has landed 3 national commercials, 2 regional commercials, 2 appearances on HBO’s Ballers, and the role of the Bookseller/Fight Captain in Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Currently – when he and his wife are not chasing after their pre-professional ballerina daughter’s career - Brian is also a resident instructor at ArtStage Performing Arts where he teaches characterization, intonation, pitch, breath control, audition prep and how to “Act The Song”. What a huge JOY it is to share his love of theatre and song and music and art with the budding young hearts and minds of performance!
